Andhra Minister Inspects Amaravati Quantum Valley, Targets December Completion
Andhra Pradesh is building a place called Quantum Valley in Amaravati.
It is meant to help the state become a center for quantum technology.
Minister Ponguru Narayana visited the site to check the construction.
The main building is about 45,216 square feet.
IBM and Tata Consultancy Services are involved in developing the quantum lab.
Special designs will protect the lab from noise, electrical problems, and changes in temperature.
The building is expected to be completed by the end of December.
Two very tall towers are also planned nearby for technology companies and startups.
Minister Ponguru Narayana inspected Quantum Valley construction in Amaravati and reviewed its progress.
The 45,216-square-foot quantum lab building is intended to help make Andhra Pradesh a quantum-technology hub.
IBM and Tata Consultancy Services are partnering on the quantum lab, which includes specialized noise and power controls.
Construction of the Quantum Valley building is expected to finish by the end of December, while MEP work is planned to conclude within one to two months.
Plans also include two 48-floor towers on 50 acres for startups, development firms, and technology companies.
