Delhi Master Plan 2047 Adds Air Taxis to Future Transport

Delhi’s new long-term city plan mentions air taxis for the first time.

This does not mean air-taxi flights will begin soon.

The plan does not say where they would fly, who would operate them, or when they would start.

Any service would need separate aviation approvals and rules.

The plan also proposes better road and public transport links to Noida International Airport at Jewar.

It wants Delhi’s airports to be connected by roads, railways, or other transport systems.

Some hospitals and tall buildings could have helipads for emergencies.

The plan also considers using waterways and improving connections across the wider National Capital Region.
