Beed Farmer Dies of Electric Shock During Pola Preparations

Shahaji Laxman Aware was a 44-year-old farmer from Chikhli.

He was preparing food for his cattle during the Pola festival.

He had already bathed his bullocks for the festival.

While using a machine to cut fodder, he received a powerful electric shock.

He fell down near the machine.

His family and neighbours turned off the electricity and took him to a hospital.

Doctors said he had died before arriving.

His death saddened the village, and his funeral was held that afternoon.
