Two Farmers Die in Separate Karimnagar Lightning Strikes
Two farmers died after lightning struck during rain on Tuesday.
One farmer, Gopu Surender Reddy, was found dead in his field after he failed to return home.
The other farmer, Janga Sudhakar Reddy, stood under a mango tree for shelter.
Lightning struck the tree and killed him.
The two incidents happened in different places in the erstwhile Karimnagar district.
Police visited both locations and started investigations.
Lightning also killed 25 sheep in another incident.
The sheep owners asked the government for help.
Gopu Surender Reddy, 58, died after lightning struck him in a field at Vedurugatta.
Janga Sudhakar Reddy, 65, was killed when lightning struck a mango tree at Kolanur.
