Telangana Case Registered After Lorry Cleaner Dies on Electric Fence
Police in Telangana registered a case against a tenant farmer after a young lorry cleaner died.
The cleaner was named Rupesh Kumar and was 21 years old.
He allegedly touched a live electric wire around a farm in Gandhari village.
Police said the wire had been put up to keep wildlife away from crops.
Rupesh had been travelling with a lorry driver named Avadhesh.
Their lorry had earlier crashed into a tanker near Kupti bridge.
The two men left the crash site because they feared workers might have died.
Rupesh later moved through the farm fields and allegedly came into contact with the wire.
Ichoda police registered a case against tenant farmer Atram Chandrabhan, 41.
Lorry cleaner Rupesh Kumar, 21, allegedly died after touching a live wire around an agricultural field.
The incident occurred in Gandhari village of Neredigonda mandal, Telangana.
Police said Chandrabhan allegedly installed the wire to protect standing crops from wildlife.
