Vidyashilp Community's 6,000-Voice Vande Mataram Marks India's 80th Independence Day
A big group of students, teachers, and parents in India got together to sing an important song called Vande Mataram.
This song is very special to many people in India.
More than 6,000 people sang together at one school—that's more than 4,000 students, 800 teachers and staff, and 1,500 parents.
They did this to celebrate India's 80th birthday as an independent country on August 15.
This year is also extra special because it has been 150 years since Vande Mataram was written.
The whole event was filmed with professional cameras.
The video will be shared around August 15 by the school community.
The head of the school group, Dr. Kiran Pai, said the event was not a show but a promise.
He hopes the children learn they belong to something bigger than themselves.
The school wants students to love their country and grow up honest, kind, and helpful.
