Government to Launch Nationwide Reform Utsav on October 2

The government plans to start a nationwide campaign called Reform Utsav on October 2.

The campaign will show people the reforms made by different government departments.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly expected to launch it.

Each Central ministry will hold more than a dozen events.

These events will explain how government services are intended to become more people-focused.

Ministries will organise activities in stages with states and Union Territories.

Officials are holding meetings to prepare the campaign.

The Ministry of Home Affairs plans to discuss its PRAHAAR counter-terrorism policy.

That policy focuses on preventing attacks, coordinating government agencies and following human rights and the rule of law.
