Traffic Diversions Begin Around Dhoolpet for Ganesh Idol Transport
Traffic police are changing some roads around Dhoolpet because many Ganesh idols will be moved there.
The changes begin at 7 a.m.
on Saturday and continue until 10 p.m.
on September 14.
Regular vehicles cannot use the road between Boiguda Kaman and the Gandhi statue.
Vehicles carrying idols must use special entry and exit routes.
Other vehicles going toward Mangalhat will be sent through several alternative roads.
Lorries carrying idols must wait at Jummerat Bazaar ground.
They can collect their idols only after 10 p.m.
Extra parking is available on 100 Feet Road and at Puranapul.
Diversions around Dhoolpet will operate from 7 a.m. Saturday until 10 p.m. September 14.
General traffic will be barred between Boiguda Kaman and the Gandhi statue in both directions.
Ganesh-idol vehicles must enter through the Gandhi statue and Puranapul and exit via Boiguda Kaman crossroads.
Traffic toward Mangalhat will be rerouted through Takkarwadi, Jinsi chowrahi and Ghode-ki-Khabar.
Idol-carrying lorries and mini-lorries must park at Jummerat Bazaar and collect idols only after 10 p.m.
