BRICS Summit Focuses on Youth, Adopts Education Ministers' Declaration

Some big countries decided to work together on schools and learning.

They are called BRICS, and this year India is the host.

Leaders who take care of education in these countries came to a city called Bhubaneswar in India.

At their meeting, they all agreed on a special plan called a declaration.

The plan says they want little children to get good early learning.

It also says older students should learn skills that help them get jobs.

The countries want to work together on new ideas, research and even starting new companies.

They also want to help teachers and school leaders become better at their jobs.

The leaders want young people to be part of the future and learn how countries talk and work together.

An important Indian leader, Mr. Pralhad Joshi, said this agreement will help many Indian states, like Odisha, too.
