Tata Power Reports Record Rooftop Solar Installations in Q2
Tata Power sells solar panels that can be put on rooftops.
In the July–September quarter, it installed 88,397 rooftop solar systems.
That was more than it installed in the same quarter a year earlier.
The systems added 426 MWp of solar capacity.
In the first six months of 2026–27, the company installed 168,530 systems.
Uttar Pradesh had the most new installations among the states listed.
Maharashtra had the greatest total capacity among those states.

Tata Power Solaroof installed 88,397 rooftop solar systems in the July–September quarter, 33% more than a year earlier.
Quarterly installed capacity reached 426 MWp, up 15% from 369 MWp in the comparable period.
In the first half of 2026–27, the company added 168,530 systems and 801 MWp of capacity, increases of 50% and 25%, respectively.
Uttar Pradesh led first-half installations with 44,014 systems; Maharashtra had the highest cumulative capacity among the four states highlighted, at 1,041 MWp.
Tata Power said its rooftop solar work supports the government’s Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana and its Ghar Ghar Solar awareness campaign.
