Yashwantrao Chavan Centre Invites Entries for Educational Book Award 2026

There is a special prize for people who write books about school and education.

It is called the Dr Kumud Bansal Outstanding Educational Book Award.

The award is organised by the Shikshan Vikas Manch at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in Mumbai.

Teachers, authors and publishers can send in their books.

The prize helps encourage smart writing and research about how students learn and how teachers teach.

The winner will receive ₹21,000 rupees, a memento and a certificate of appreciation.

The publisher of the winning book will also get a memento and a certificate.

Books about education that came out between October 1, 2025 and September 30, 2026 can take part.

Two copies of each book must be sent by October 15, 2026.

The award will be given on January 3, 2027 at a big education conference in Mumbai.
