Uddhav Thackeray slams PM Modi over Shinde faction meeting

A political team in India called the Shiv Sena split into two groups, and now both groups want to keep the team's name and special election symbol.

A big court is deciding who gets them.

The leader of one group, Uddhav Thackeray, says the country's prime minister met with leaders of the other group.

Thackeray says the prime minister told them, 'Do not fear, I am behind you.'

He thinks that is unfair while the court is still deciding the case.

He wants the prime minister to explain what he really meant by those words.

Another person in Thackeray's group, Sanjay Raut, says the prime minister should be working in Parliament instead of having parties.

Both men say the meeting was disrespectful to voters and to the law.

They want the court to take notice of what happened.
