Delhi: 70-Year-Old Woman Killed as Cop's Son Crashes Mercedes
On a Saturday morning in Delhi, India, an elderly woman was standing near the road feeding birds.
Suddenly, a very fast luxury car crashed into another car, which then hit a van.
The woman, whose name was Urmila Devi, got badly hurt in the crash and sadly died.
The driver of the luxury car, a young man named Shubham, was arrested by the police right away.
People who saw the crash said he had been drinking alcohol and driving very fast, about 100 kilometers per hour.
The police also found bottles of alcohol in his car.
Shubham's father works as a police officer in another state called Haryana.
The police took blood samples from the driver to test if he had been drinking.
They are also looking at video recordings and talking to witnesses to find out exactly what happened.
A 70-year-old woman, Urmila Devi, was killed when a speeding Mercedes-Benz rammed a WagonR in a chain collision in Narela's Mamurpur village, Outer Delhi.

The Mercedes driver, Shubham, 27, son of a Haryana Police sub-inspector, was arrested at the spot; the car had been borrowed from a friend a day earlier.
A relative said Shubham was drunk and driving at about 100 km/h around 8:30 a.m. while Urmila was feeding birds; a liquor bottle was allegedly found in the car.
