Madhya Pradesh Bans Analog Paneer, Chief Minister Announces
The leader of an Indian state called Madhya Pradesh made a new rule about food.
He is the Chief Minister, and his name is Dr Mohan Yadav.
The rule says stores cannot make or sell a fake kind of paneer called analog paneer.
Real paneer is a soft cheese made from milk.
Analog paneer is made from vanaspati, which is a kind of vegetable fat instead of milk.
The leader wants people to have only real paneer made from milk.
He said the state will work to make more milk naturally.
Some other states, like Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh, already made this rule.
The leader also said government workers should still get promotions even if they did not pass a computer test called CPCT.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav announced a complete ban on the production and sale of analog paneer in the state.
Only natural paneer will be allowed to be sold, with strict action promised against producers of analog paneer.
The directive was issued at a review meeting with Food Department officials, banning paneer made from vanaspati instead of milk.
Maharashtra, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh have already banned analog paneer.
The Chief Minister also directed that the CPCT examination should not deny or revert promotions for Class III and Class IV employees.
