Rajasthan CM urges retired officers to continue social responsibilities
The leader of Rajasthan, Bhajanlal Sharma, met with retired government officers.
He told them that even though they stopped working for the government, they still have a job to do: helping society.
He asked them to use what they learned at work to guide younger people.
He said helping everyone fairly is very important to his government.
The government is trying to make sure its help reaches the people who need it most.
Many students from certain communities got money to study after high school.
Loans were also given to people to start businesses.
Families in one district got new homes to live in.
The retired officers thanked the leader and promised to keep helping their communities.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma told retired officers they never retire from their social responsibilities and should mentor the younger generation.
Sharma said social justice is at the core of his government's policies, guided by the ideals of B.R. Ambedkar.
Around 4.25 lakh students have benefited under the SC post-matric scholarship scheme and 4.30 lakh under the ST post-matric scholarship scheme.
Loans worth Rs 887 crore have been disbursed under the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Rajasthan Dalit, Adivasi Udyam Protsahan Yojana.
Retired IAS, IPS, IRS and other officers attended the interaction in Jaipur, where 14,636 families in Baran district received homes under PM-JANMAN.
