NCSC Chairman: Ensure welfare benefits reach every eligible SC family

There is a special group in India whose job is to make sure people from a community called Scheduled Castes are treated fairly and get the support they need.

The leader of that group, Kishor Makwana, visited a place called Tirupati.

He met with government workers who help people get support.

He told them to make sure that every family that needs help actually gets it.

He said nobody who should get help should be left out.

The meeting talked about schools, jobs, homes, and money for education.

They also talked about hostels where students live, and said these hostels need clean water, good food, and safe buildings.

He also talked about helping people who have been treated badly or hurt because of who they are.

He said these people should get help from the law and money from the government on time.

The government workers said they are working hard to tell people about these programs and make sure everyone gets the benefits.
