Delhi election officials are checking voter records in a process called the Special Intensive Revision.

Some records had mistakes or could not be matched with an older voter list.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta received a notice because information about her age seemed inconsistent with her parents’ ages.

She gave documents, and officials approved her record for the final list.

Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and members of his family also received notices.

Their forms did not include enough information to connect them to the older voter list.

The Aam Aadmi Party criticized the process and said it could remove opponents’ votes.

People who receive notices must provide documents before the final voter list is published.
