Kochhar Finishes Top 20 as Pavit Wins Yeangder TPC
Karandeep Kochhar and Shaurya Bhattacharya played in a golf tournament in Taiwan.
Kochhar finished tied for 19th place.
Bhattacharya finished tied for 39th.
Thailand’s Pavit Tangkamolprasert won the tournament.
He made a difficult four-foot birdie putt on the final hole.
That gave him a one-shot victory over Japan’s Kazuki Higa.
Pavit finished 25 strokes under par after four rounds.
It was his first Asian Tour victory in seven years.
The Asian Tour will hold another tournament in Taiwan next week.
Karandeep Kochhar shot a five-under 67 to finish tied 19th at the Yeangder TPC.
Shaurya Bhattacharya finished tied 39th after closing with a 72.
Thailand’s Pavit Tangkamolprasert won by one stroke with a 25-under total.
Pavit made a four-foot birdie on the final hole to hold off defending champion Kazuki Higa.
Chien-yao Hung finished third, while Wei-hsuan Wang and Jazz Janewattananond shared fourth.
