Akshay Bhatia Slips to 22nd After Tour Championship Back-Nine Struggles
Akshay Bhatia played in the TOUR Championship, a season-ending golf event.
He started strongly with rounds of 65 and 69.
After two rounds, he was tied for 11th place at six-under par.
In the third round, he shot one-over-par 71.
He made a bogey on the fifth hole but recovered with a birdie on the 12th.

Because he made the elite field, he will be able to play in all four Major championships next season.

A birdie on the 17th could not offset the late mistakes, leaving him tied 22nd among 29 players.
His place in the elite 30-man season-ending field guarantees him entry into all four Major championships next season.
