Telangana Plans Law and HYDRAA-Style Wing Against Food Adulteration

Some bad people in a city called Hyderabad were mixing dangerous chemicals into spices that people use to cook food.

Putting chemicals in spices can make people very sick.

The police caught three people who were doing this.

The police found about 25 tonnes of these bad spices.

The three people were arrested and could go to jail for three to seven years.

The state government of Telangana is making a new law to punish people who spoil food.

They also want to create a special team, like the one called HYDRAA, just for food safety.

This will help catch more people who put people's health at risk.

A senior police officer said this is nothing but playing with the lives of innocent people.

So the police and the government are taking this very seriously.
