Chhattisgarh wants to grow its economy in more ways than mining and traditional industries.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai told leaders that the state is looking at technology, artificial intelligence, start-ups, green energy and advanced manufacturing.

The government wants investments to create jobs and help young people start businesses.

It plans to support 5,000 start-ups by 2030 and provide seed funding of up to ₹10 lakh.

A State AI Mission will train students and government employees and create new AI services.

The state also wants to improve roads, railways, electricity and digital connections.

In Bastar, it plans to raise family incomes, reopen schools and improve links to markets.

Chhattisgarh is also promoting tourism and processing of local products instead of sending only raw materials elsewhere.
