He asked them to invest money in businesses and projects in Gujarat.

He especially discussed GIFT City, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, data centres and biotechnology.

He also said tourism, hotels and hospitality could grow.

Patel described Gujarat as having good infrastructure, government policies and financial systems.

He said the state is also working to improve water, electricity, jobs and city services.

The visit is part of preparations for an investment summit in 2027.

He also met a Walmart executive about helping small businesses and artisans sell in global markets.
