Mumbai Metro 3 Marks One Year With 7.2 Crore Journeys

Mumbai’s Aqua Line has completed one year of operating along its full route.

It connects Aarey JVLR and Cuffe Parade.

During that year, people made more than 7.2 crore journeys on it.

The metro is Mumbai’s first underground metro corridor.

MMRC says many people used it in September 2026, on both weekdays and weekends.

To mark the anniversary, MMRC plans to save memories and records about the line in a Time Capsule.

It also plans a stamp trail at selected stations.

Commuters will be able to travel along the line and collect stamps.
