Indofast Energy to Set Up 23 Battery Swapping Stations Along Mumbai Metro Corridor
Indofast Energy is teaming up with Mumbai Metro to set up 23 new battery swapping stations along the Aqua Line 3 route.
These stations will help people who use electric scooters, rickshaws, and small delivery vehicles.
The stations will be at important metro stops like Bandra Kurla Complex and Worli.
This will make it easier for people to use electric vehicles for their daily trips.
Right now, Indofast already has 19 stations in Mumbai.
The new stations will have special machines that can quickly swap batteries for different types of vehicles.
This is a big step toward making Mumbai's transport system more eco-friendly.
Indofast Energy is partnering with MMRCL to set up 23 battery swapping stations along the Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3 corridor.
The stations will cater to electric two- and three-wheelers as well as small commercial vehicles.
Key metro stations included in the plan are Aarey JVLR, SEEPZ, MIDC, Santacruz Metro, Bandra Kurla Complex, Dharavi, Worli, and Acharya Atre Chowk.
The initiative aims to promote sustainable urban mobility and encourage the adoption of electric vehicles for last-mile connectivity.
Indofast Energy currently has 19 swap stations in Mumbai and will use advanced automated swapping technology for the new stations.
