INS Dunagiri Ship Model Presented to Sainik School Korukonda
A ship from the Indian Navy, called INS Dunagiri, was brought to a school in Visakhapatnam.
The captain of the ship, Captain Diwya Alok, gave a model of the ship to the school.
He also turned on a new smart board in the school’s conference hall.
The school’s principal, Group Captain SS Shastri, welcomed everyone.
Later, the captain talked to the students about being a good leader and about the navy.
He also showed the students a hall that encourages them to join the National Defence Academy.
Captain Diwya Alok, commanding officer of INS Dunagiri, presented a ship model to Sainik School Korukonda on behalf of Rear Admiral Alok Ananda.
The visit included a ceremonial reception led by Group Captain SS Shastri, principal of the school.
Capt. Diwya Alok inaugurated a new smart panel in the school's conference hall.
A special assembly at Dr. PVG Raju Auditorium featured talks on leadership and naval service.
The school’s NDA Motivation Hall was toured, showcasing displays encouraging cadets to join the National Defence Academy.
