Somanna orders fast-tracking of stalled Kanekallu railway bridge

A big bridge that would help cars and trains cross safely was supposed to be built near a town called Rayadurgam.

But the building stopped and nothing happened for seven whole years.

That is a very long time, long enough for a child to grow from a baby into a second grader.

Some important leaders from the area were worried about the bridge.

They traveled to Delhi, the capital, to meet the Railway Minister.

They told him that more trains will be coming soon because the railway lines are being doubled.

More trains mean more people will need to cross the tracks, so the bridge is very important.

The Minister listened and promised to speed up the work.

He ordered his officials to treat the bridge as a top priority.

The leaders also asked him to fix waterlogging near another railway crossing, and the Minister agreed to look into it.
