In a place called Madhya Pradesh in India, it has rained very heavily for three days in a row.

The rain has made water collect in streets and flooded some areas.

Because of this, schools in two cities, Bhopal and Guna, stayed closed on Wednesday.

Schools in Bhopal were also closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The leader of the state, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, wanted to make sure people stay safe.

He talked to rescue teams from a special control room and checked how each district was doing.

Workers from the SDRF, police and Home Guards saved 527 people from the flood water.

The Chief Minister told drivers not to cross roads where water is flowing over them.

He also said air ambulances should be ready to help wherever they are needed.

Local people who helped save lives will also be rewarded.
