Hyderabad Food Safety Inspection Finds Flies, Oil Issues
The city of Hyderabad has a group that checks restaurants to make sure they are clean and safe.
They went to two places: Pista House in RC Puram and Mandi King in Manikonda.
At Pista House, they found flies in the bakery and on carrots, and the kitchen didn't have hot water or labels on food.
At Mandi King, the oil used for frying was dark and greasy, and there was a lot of food waste.
The inspectors also saw rust on refrigerators and missing records.
They gave the restaurants a notice telling them to fix these problems so people can eat safely.

Houseflies were found in the bakery and fruit flies on carrots at Pista House.
Dark, greasy cooking oil was detected in deep fryers at Mandi King.
Multiple hygiene deficiencies were noted, including no hot water, unlabelled food, rusted equipment, and missing records.
An improvement notice was issued to the food business operators to rectify the identified deficiencies.
