Bihar Expands Free JEE, NEET Coaching Across Model Schools
Bihar is giving more students free help to prepare for the JEE and NEET exams.
The coaching is now available at 155 Model Schools.
It is mainly for students in Classes 11 and 12.
Two schools in Patna already provide residential coaching.
Other coaching centres offer classes without accommodation in nine divisional headquarters.
Students in Classes 9 to 12 at 700 Model Schools will also get access to the Vidya Saathi app.
Through the app, they can ask teachers questions about difficult subjects.
The programme was launched on the instructions of Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.
The Bihar School Examination Board expanded free JEE and NEET coaching to 155 Saraswati Vidya Niketan Model Schools.
The programme targets Classes 11 and 12 students preparing for the two competitive examinations.
The residential programme is operating at two schools in Patna: Patna Collegiate School and Bankipore Girls Higher Secondary School.
Free non-residential coaching has operated at nine divisional headquarters since the 2024-26 academic session.
The Vidya Saathi app is being connected to students in Classes 9 to 12 across 700 Model Schools for free teacher support.
