Nigerian Woman Held With ₹1.6 Crore Amphetamine at Ratlam Junction
There are special officers in India called the DRI who stop people from carrying illegal drugs.
They got a secret tip about a woman carrying drugs on a train.
The woman was travelling from New Delhi to Mumbai.
The officers waited for her at Ratlam Junction railway station and stopped her there.
They searched her trolley bag, which is a big suitcase with wheels.
Inside, they found a hidden space in the bag holding a packet.
The packet had a white powder that a test showed was a drug called amphetamine.
The drug weighed about two kilograms and is worth around Rs 1.6 crore.
The woman is from Nigeria.
She was arrested and brought to court, where a judge ordered her to stay in DRI custody until August 11.
