Bhopal–Jaipur Express Halt Cancelled; New Tatkal Token System Introduced
The railway is doing work on the train tracks on the Ajmer–Chanderiya section.
They are adding extra tracks as part of a track-doubling project.
Because of this work, the Bhopal–Jaipur Express will not stop at Bandanwara station from October 6 to October 8.
The train will still run, it just won't make that one stop for a few days.
The railway also started a new way to give out tokens for Tatkal tickets.
Tatkal tickets are special last-minute train tickets.
Every morning, tokens are handed out at reservation centres in Bhopal.
AC coach tokens are given out between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning, and other tokens between 9:00 and 9:30.
Only a certain number of tokens are given at each counter, so not everyone may get one.
People booking tickets for themselves or their family get priority.
The scheduled halt of Train Nos. 19712/19711 Bhopal–Jaipur–Bhopal Express at Bandanwara station is cancelled from October 6 to October 8, 2026.
The cancellation is due to commissioning of 'patch doubling' work under the track-doubling project between Jharwasa, Bandanwara and Singwal stations on the Ajmer–Chanderiya section.
The Bhopal Division of West Central Railway introduced a new Tatkal token distribution system on August 1, 2026, at all reservation centres across the division.
AC Tatkal tokens are issued from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM with a maximum of 10 per counter, while non-AC Tatkal tokens are issued from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM with a maximum of 15 per counter.
Passengers booking Tatkal tickets for themselves or family members — grandparents, parents, siblings, children and spouses — fall under the Priority 'A' category.
