Rani Kamlapati–Rewa Vande Bharat to get 16 coaches from August 7
A special train in India called the Vande Bharat Express is getting much bigger.
It travels between two cities, Rewa and Rani Kamlapati.
Starting August 7, 2026, this train will have twice as many coaches as before.
That means it can carry 598 more people, going from 530 seats to 1,128 seats.
This is because many people want to travel on this train.
The bigger train will stay until October 24, 2026.
The railway people are also trying a new way to give out train tickets.
People who want Tatkal tickets now get a special token at a set time.
Tokens for fancy AC seats are given in the morning from 8:30 to 9:00.
Tokens for regular seats are given from 9:00 to 9:30.
This way, people can line up in an orderly way instead of pushing.
The railway wants to make buying tickets fair and easy for everyone.
West Central Railway will temporarily increase Train No. 20174/20173 Rani Kamlapati–Rewa Vande Bharat Express from 8 coaches to 16 coaches from August 7, 2026 to October 24, 2026.
The train's total seating capacity will rise from 530 to 1,128 seats, adding 598 additional seats.
The revised 16-coach composition includes 2 Executive Chair Cars (52 seats each), 2 Chair Cars (44 seats each), and 12 Chair Cars (78 seats each).
The Bhopal Division introduced a new time-slot-based token system for Tatkal reservations on August 1, 2026.
Under the new token system, AC Tatkal tokens are issued from 8:30 am to 9:00 am and non-AC tokens from 9:00 am to 9:30 am, with a maximum of 10 AC and 15 non-AC tokens per counter.
