Five Killed After SUV Plunges Into Chenab River in Kishtwar
Something very sad happened in a mountain area called Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir.
A big car called a Mahindra Scorpio drove off the road and fell into a fast-moving river called the Chenab.
At least five people in the car lost their lives.
The car went off the road in the morning around 10:45.
It happened near a place called Yainwan in Dangdaroo.
The car may have lost control and rolled down a steep slope into the river.
Police officers and local people worked very hard to find the passengers.
It was difficult because the land is steep and the river water is rushing fast.
So far, police have recovered five bodies.
They do not know exactly how many people were in the car, and they are investigating why the accident happened.

The accident occurred around 10:45 am near Yainwan in Dangdaroo in the Dachhan area, as the vehicle travelled from Dangdaroo towards Sounder.
The SUV, bearing registration number HR29AG-0648, reportedly lost control, veered off the road and rolled down a steep slope before falling into the gushing river.
Police personnel from Dachhan Police Station, assisted by local residents and rescue teams, launched an extensive rescue and recovery operation hampered by difficult terrain.
Five bodies have been recovered so far, but the exact number of occupants is yet to be confirmed, and an investigation has been initiated into the accident's circumstances.
