The National Highways Authority of India wants to make parts of Karnataka’s NH-75 safer.

The road locations were identified as accident blackspots by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

The plan includes building grade separators at selected places.

Grade separators let different streams of traffic cross at different levels.

The improvement work will cover 25.6 kilometres in total.

The project is expected to cost Rs 821.49 crore, before GST.

A contractor will have two years to complete the work and five years to maintain it.

Bids are scheduled to be submitted in November 2026.
