Ahmedabad Police Seize Rs 10.17 Lakh Me phedrone
Police in Ahmedabad say they found illegal mephedrone drugs in a car in the Juhapura area.
The drugs weighed 339 grams and were valued at Rs 10.17 lakh.
Police arrested a 32-year-old man named Kadar alias Ghuvad Iqbalbhai Hasambhai Mover.
They also took two phones, cash, a car and plastic bags.
Altogether, the seized items were valued at Rs 15.61 lakh.
The raid was part of a campaign called “No Drugs in Ahmedabad City.”
Police said two other people connected to the case have not yet been arrested.
A case has been filed under India’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Police are continuing legal proceedings and investigating where the drugs came from.
