Malwa Belt Key Battleground for Punjab 2027 Chief Minister Race
Punjab is a state in India, and it is split into different areas.
One of these areas is called Malwa, and it is very important because it has most of the seats in the state's assembly.
The next Chief Minister of Punjab will very likely be decided in Malwa.
In 2022, a party called the Aam Aadmi Party won almost every seat in Malwa.
People were upset with the older parties because farmers were struggling with debt, crop losses and a drug problem.
The AAP promised free electricity, money for women and new jobs, and people voted for change.
Now, in 2027, there will be another election, and the AAP has to prove it kept its promises.
