Flexicap Funds Buy ₹15,122 Crore, Sell ₹12,178 Crore in July
Mutual funds are like big piggy banks where many people put money together.
A person called a fund manager decides which companies to buy with that money.
Flexicap funds are a special kind that can invest in both big and small companies.
In July, flexicap funds bought shares worth ₹15,122 crore and sold shares worth ₹12,178 crore.
They added the most money to ICICI Bank, a big bank in India.
They sold the most shares of Bajaj Auto, a company that makes motorcycles and vehicles.
Sometimes different funds disagree, because HDFC Bank was both bought and sold.
The managers also stopped investing in some companies, including Tata Power and Infosys.
They seem to like capital-market and electrical equipment companies right now.
Experts call this careful buying and selling "selective repositioning."

ICICI Bank recorded the largest increase in exposure at ₹493 crore, followed by HDFC Bank at ₹365 crore and PB Fintech at ₹349 crore.
