Chinta O Chetana Festival To Blend Culture And Flood Relief

Chinta O Chetana is holding a three-day festival in Bhubaneswar.

The festival will take place from August 25 to 27.

The group was started by former Odisha Chief Minister Harekrushna Mahatab in 1978.

It is known for literary, cultural and social service activities.

Artists from Odisha and other parts of India will perform.

Odissi dance, music and other classical performances will be included.

The organisers will also use the event to support people affected by floods and natural disasters.

Some social workers, military officers, writers and artists will be honoured.

Preparations have also begun for the group’s 50th anniversary celebrations next year.
