Almost one million people — nearly 940,000 — were affected by the water.
The leader of Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, announced a plan to help them.
The government will give 1,000 crore rupees for relief.
Farmers will get money for their damaged crops and new seeds to plant again.
Broken water pumps that water the fields will be repaired, and people who lost their jobs will get help.
