Kalyan-Dombivli Deploys Over 1,000 Personnel For Ganeshotsav Security
Kalyan-Dombivli is preparing for many people to celebrate Ganeshotsav.
More than 1,000 police personnel and Home Guards will help keep everyone safe.
They will manage crowds, traffic and security.
The area is expected to have 302 public Ganpati mandals.
Thousands of families will also install Ganpati idols at home.
Manpada is expected to have the most household idols.
Bazarpeth is expected to have the most public mandals.
Extra State Reserve Police Force teams will also help during the festival.
A total of 1,066 police personnel and Home Guards will be deployed across Kalyan Police Zone-3.
The zone expects 302 public Ganpati mandals, 52,544 household idols and 7,220 Gauri Ganpati installations.
The deployment includes 795 police personnel, 160 Home Guards, two DCPs, four ACPs, 25 PIs and 80 APIs/PSIs.
Two platoons of the State Reserve Police Force will provide additional security during the festival.
Manpada is expected to lead household installations, while Bazarpeth has the most public Ganpati mandals.
