Tukaram Mundhe Seals Pune Fort Murder Accused Siya Goyal’s Family Shop, Seizes Products Worth Rs 8 Lakh · news18.com

There is a shop in Pune, India, that sells spices and dry fruits.

The shop belongs to the family of a young woman named Siya Goyal, who is in jail.

Siya and her boyfriend are accused of hurting her fiancé, Ketan Agarwal, who later died.

Food safety officers, called the FDA, checked the family shop and found problems.

They said the shop did not have the right permission to sell food at that address.

They also said some food was not labeled properly and might not be safe to eat.

Officers took away more than 4,000 kilograms of food and closed the shop for now.

They are testing samples of turmeric powder, sesame seeds and soybean chunks in a laboratory.

The shop owner says the food was good and that the officers are being unfair because of his daughter's case.

The FDA says the shop action is only about food safety and is separate from the murder case.
