Banaras Lit Fest 2026 Book Awards Announces Longlists
The Banaras Lit Fest 2026 Book Awards has announced the longlists for its prizes in fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and translation.
The awards are given in both Hindi and English.
The shortlist will be announced on January 17, 2026, and the winners will be revealed on January 21, 2026.
Each winner will receive Rs 51,000, a trophy, and a certificate.
The awards include the Ruskin Bond Award for Fiction, the Sarojini Naidu Award for Poetry, the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award for Nonfiction, and the Rabindranath Tagore Award for Translation, among others.
