South Central Railway Cancels Six December Trains Amid Works
South Central Railway has announced that six trains will not run on certain days in December.
The cancellations are connected to railway construction work called non-interlocking work.
The affected trains travel between places such as Hyderabad, Tirupati, Raxaul, Vasco Da Gama and Jasidih.
Passengers have been asked to check their train status before travelling.
The railway also checked drinking water at three Telangana stations.
It tested 255 water samples from September 9 to 15.
All the samples were found satisfactory, and none contained E. coli.
Railway officials said they will keep checking the water supplied to passengers and staff.
South Central Railway will cancel six train services in December because of non-interlocking work on the South Eastern Railway network.
The affected routes connect Hyderabad, Tirupati and Vasco Da Gama with Raxaul or Jasidih on specified dates.
Train 17433 will be cancelled on December 7 and 14, while train 17434 will be cancelled on December 10 and 17.
South Central Railway tested 255 water samples at stations in Ramagundam, Manchiryal and Bellampalli, and all were satisfactory.
Officials said no sample showed E. coli contamination, while a September 25 check at Ramagundam found chlorine, TDS and pH within prescribed limits.
