Basque figures call for protest against planned Biarritz banquet

About 100 figures from the Basque region oppose a banquet planned by the Canon français in Biarritz on 28 November.

They say the company promotes exclusion and discrimination.

They are planning a public protest and a campaign to oppose the event.

The banquet series has faced controversy after racist, sexist and homophobic insults and Nazi salutes were reported at an event in Caen in May.
