Angel Reese leads Atlanta Dream to first WNBA Finals since 2013
Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream have reached the WNBA Finals for the first time since 2013.
The Dream swept the Washington Mystics and New York Liberty and have not lost in the playoffs.
Reese joined Atlanta in an offseason trade after two seasons with the Chicago Sky, who did not reach the playoffs during her time there.
She had the best regular season of her career, averaging 16.4 points and 12.1 rebounds per game, and was named Defensive Player of the Year.
In Atlanta’s 85-83 win over New York, she scored 22 points and helped seal the series.
