Isabelle Huppert Says AI Has Not Replaced Her Acting
French actor Isabelle Huppert said she has not yet been replaced by artificial intelligence.
She spoke at the Busan International Film Festival, where her film “All About Corinne” is screening.
Huppert said she had heard she might soon be speaking Korean and Japanese, but she still sees herself acting on screen.
She said AI could threaten acting jobs, though she remains hopeful.
“All About Corinne” follows a veteran film extra who still dreams of acting, and is due to open in South Korea next spring.
Huppert also confirmed she will appear in a film by director Dario Argento, which she said may come next year.

This story does not have two clearly opposing sides.
It really is me acting. So I haven’t yet been threatened, confronted with that admittedly grim prospect
So far I’ve seen that it’s still my face on screen, and I hope that continues
Maybe I’m wrong to be optimistic, I don’t know
