Brian May questions AI needed for a virtual Queen show

Brian May and Roger Taylor have considered a show that would recreate Queen with Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991.

May says the plan would need a lot of AI, and he is worried about its effects and the resources used by data centres.

He has not ruled out the idea, but says he is less keen than before.

The debate reflects questions about how technology can recreate performers who are no longer alive.
