Glauber Rocha’s 1970 film undergoes 6K restoration in Spain

Glauber Rocha’s 1970 film “Cabeças Cortadas” is being restored in Spain.

Its original picture and sound negatives have been scanned in 6K, and the finished version will be 4K.

The film was poorly received in Spain and later fell into obscurity there.

Its rights holder plans to re-release it in specialist classic-film cinemas.
