Disney’s ‘Hexed’ follows a teenage girl who discovers she is a witch
Disney’s animated film “Hexed” follows Billie, a teenager who discovers she is a powerful witch.
After losing a bracelet that had been suppressing her powers, she accidentally opens a portal to Hexe, a hidden world of witches.
There, Billie gets help from Beef, a three-eyed cat and friend of her mother’s.
She faces Queen Celeste, who is trying to complete a ritual that could affect both Hexe and Billie’s world.
The film’s creators describe its tone as darker than many Disney animated films, while still including humor and playful details.
The story also connects Billie’s family to the magical world.
“Hexed” is scheduled to arrive in theaters at Thanksgiving.
