Three rounds remain in Argentina’s Primera Nacional promotion and relegation races

Argentina’s Primera Nacional, the country’s second-tier football league, is entering its final three rounds.

The 36-team competition is split into two zones, and each zone’s leader will meet in a neutral-site final for a place in the top division.

Ferro leads Zone A with 61 points, followed by Morón on 58.

Tristán Suárez leads Zone B with 59, while Temperley has 56 and could draw level.

The teams placed second through eighth in each zone currently qualify for a promotion playoff, and several others are still trying to reach it.

The bottom two teams in each zone will be relegated; Acassuso and San Miguel are currently in danger in Zone A, while Güemes and Chacarita are in danger in Zone B. Three rounds remain, and ties for promotion places are settled by goal difference, while tied teams facing relegation play a decider.
